Accounting Administrator



  • Direct Hire role
  • Key responsibilities will include maintaining continuous knowledge of financial documentation for accuracy, collaborating to ensure understanding and accuracy of monthly costs and revenue, clarifying terms of client contracts to ensure billing and reporting requirements are met, preparing for monthly workbook reviews, assisting with special projects, creating customer invoices, preparing and validating expense and revenue accruals at month-end, responding to client-related claims regarding invoices and billing details, dealing with vendors regarding payment status and outstanding purchase orders, assisting with AR collection issues, creating capital expenditure reports, providing training to support staff as needed, setting performance goals, and completing progress reviews and annual appraisals for supervised employees
  • Business Administration or Accounting diploma preferred
  • At least two years of related experience required
  • Understanding of organizational administrative and finance policies, procedures, and forms is expected
  • Thorough understanding of collective agreement terms and conditions is critical
